Meet the Team

Jessie Russell

Owner & Nursing Director

My name is Jessie Russell and I have been a nurse since 2012. My professional experience has been focused pediatric and travel nursing through level 1 trauma centers.

I was was born and raised in Mississippi where I attending Ole Miss and Mississippi College. I now have young twin boys, Kane and Kohda who love motocross, swimming, and camping. Twin Rivers has been an overwhelmingly great experience that has allowed me to shift my focus more to preventative health and wellness healthcare, while allowing me to refine my bedside nursing skills. This combined with learning how to successfully run and grow a business has presented me with the ultimate challenge, which I embrace every day.

Samantha Niccum

Born and raised in Rising Sun, Indiana. (a small town just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio). I moved to Colorado just over five years ago, and like every other transplant, I fell in love with it and stayed. I’ve spent all of my career in the Emergency Department working as a nurse, up until five months ago, when I started working with Twin Rivers. Prior to Twin Rivers, I owned and operated a medical spa of my own all the while working full time in a hospital, and I am excited to bring my experiences, both personally and professionally, to the team.

I came to Twin Rivers for multiple reasons. I was getting incredibly burnt out working in the ED. I desperately needed a change for my mental health. With that burnout came the realization that the best way to combat chronic illnesses is to do what we can to prevent them. I spent years working feverishly to stop disease processes in their tracks. I witnessed what a lack of preventative care can do to the human body on a daily basis. I decided that I no longer wanted to be apart of the team that plays catch-up and instead I wanted to work toward preventing illnesses from happening in the first place.
